Printmaking at RISD
Photogravure / Renaissance Press
At RISD, Adam focused on intaglio and photogravure. Under Paul Taylor’s tutelage at Renaissance Press, he worked on images by a range of artists, painstakingly curating the prints to perfection. These included the works by David Armstrong and Kenro Izu shown here.
His work at the Press included large-scale photogravure plates, intaglio printing and photography.
His senior-year work included setting up photogravure at RISD to demonstrate that the process could be carried out in the college’s print studios.
